Project Description:
Painting works at Galway Mayo Institute of Technology. The works have been carried out throughout the Galway campus in Lecture Theatres, Classrooms, Canteen, Workshops, Circulation Areas, Corridors, Offices. Works are fully co-ordinated with GMIT Facility Management team to avoid disruption to students, staff or members of the general public.Building Fabric & Pedestrian Improvements: corridor painting/stenciling; supply, fit & paint external railings; convert male & female toilets to gender-neutral toilets; external plastering & painting works; fit PVC cladding to pre-fab; fit additional window panels; replace doorframes; re-position directional signage; remove & re-instate speed bumps; install speed ramps; fill potholes; paint/install reflectorized / indicator strips at gates/stairwells; install rail to top of wall; replace plywood & fit new floor in services shaft.
